I am an artist in the field of interior design. I have had the honor of working in this rewarding career for over seven years, and I can proudly state that the fire and passion for my craft is just as strong today as it was when I began this journey. I am eager and earnest to grow myself in all aspects of life, which is why I am continuously working on my self-awareness, mental and physical health, design sense, and vision for seeing the beauty in life. My creative juices come out most when I am pulling project schemes and FF&E, designing something new, or rendering in Photoshop or Enscape. Creativity is an integral part of me, and I am so fortunate to be able to express it each and every day.
The bulk of my previous design experience was in model homes. This pushed me to operate beyond my comfort zone in working with an array of different design styles. Additionally, I assisted on a number of commercial projects. I helped pull artwork, accessories and select finishes. This helped me realize my passion for public space design and I knew I needed to change the trajectory of career.
I have recently made a lateral move from model homes to resort and hospitality. This change could not have been more fulfilling, as I feel right at home in this discipline. The customizability and creative freedom of hospitality design are two areas of this work that truly resonate with me. My perseverance and fortitude for growing my craft is rooted in my thirst for knowledge as a perpetual student of this industry. I am no stranger to facing challenges and overcoming obstacles to find the right solutions for the project. I thoroughly enjoy partnering with clients to determine their wants and needs to create a vision, and thus utilizing innovative and thoughtful approaches to bring their vision to life. I can ultimately see my career growing and blossoming as a hospitality designer.
Outside of work, I like to think of myself as your typical Colorado native. You can catch me attending a concert at Red Rocks, playing and coaching volleyball, or spending time with my husband and two adorable dogs. Additionally, I enjoy tackling custom art and furniture projects while using my skills to remodel our house into a home.
